Service Manager 2012 (SCSM 2012) incorporates a number of new features and incremental improvements. New features in Service Manager 2012 include the following:
• Data warehouse reporting—A key component of SCSM 2012 is the new data warehouse feature. The data warehouse collects data from multiple sources (such as Configuration Manager, Operations Manager, and Service Manager as well as other sources, such as Oracle or SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing)) and provides access to the collected data through OLAP (online analytical processing) cubes defined in Service Manager, which can be used to create drag-and-drop reports using SharePoint, Excel, or other business intelligence (BI) ...
