Holding, Resuming, and Cancelling a Change Request
A change request is just that, a request. As with any request, there is a possibility of additional questions and even rejection. If a change request is not acceptable for some reason, the reviewer can take the following actions with the change request:
• Put on Hold—A change request that is put on hold can be resumed after further review, clarification, or modifications to the request.
• Cancel—A change request can be cancelled, which is permanent. Once cancelled, a change request cannot be resumed. A new request would need to be submitted.
