Submitting a Request Using the Self-Service Web Portal
Now that we have created a request offering and service offering and published them, we can use the Self-Service Web Portal to submit a new request using these offerings.
To submit a new request using the Self-Service Web Portal, complete the following steps:

To access the content on the Self-Service Web Portal, client machines must have Microsoft Silverlight installed. In addition, the certificate that is used for SSL on the portal website must be trusted by the client; otherwise, the Silverlight content will not be displayed.
