Installing Microsoft System Center 2012 Operations Manager Audit Collection Services to support the compliance program

This recipe describe the steps to install and configure the Microsoft System Center 2012 Operations Manager Audit Collection Services (SCOM ACS).

Getting ready

To install the SCOM ACS, you need an installed and configured SCOM 2012 server. Also, you need access to a Microsoft SQL Server default instance or named instance to deploy the ACS database. A Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Service instance is required before starting this recipe.

Note

It is a recommended practice to use a separated Microsoft SQL Server instance for the ACS database.
