How to do it...

Use the following procedure to install the DPM agent on the computer you want to protect:

1. From the DPM server, copy the DPM agent file manually to the computer you want to protect under the C:\DPMAgent folder:
   • The agent files can be found on the DPM server at the following location. Please note that the agent number in bold, which follows, will be different in your case, based on the DPM version you are running. In this example, DPM server is installed under the D:\ drive:
     • For x64-bit, run the following code:

D:\Program Files\Microsoft System Center\DPM\DPM\agents\RA\5.1.375.0\amd64\1033
