I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
- Open the DPM Administrator Console, and go to the Recovery view. Browse or search for the data you want to recover:
- In the results pane, select the desired date in the calendar and desired time in the drop-down list next to Recovery time.
- Under Recoverable items, right-click the server and choose Recover…; this will trigger the Recovery Wizard.
- In the Review Recovery Selection step, click Next >.
- In the Select Recovery Type step, specify the type of recovery you would like to perform. You can restore the virtual machine to the following:
- Recover to the original location.
- Recover as virtual machine to any host.
