About the Author

Steven Holzner is an award-winning author of 78 books on computing. He did his undergraduate work at MIT and got his PhD from Cornell University. While a graduate student at Cornell, he was also a contributing editor at PC Magazine. He's been on the faculty of both MIT and Cornell, teaching classes of up to 450 students, but prefers writing. Many of his books have been bestsellers; they've sold nearly two million copies, and have been translated into 16 languages around the world. He's written about Visual Studio programming since before Visual Studio was even released. He also teaches corporate programming seminars around the nation and runs his own online business.
