There is a common myth that Microsoft does not care about the consumer and only focuses on its commercial customers. In reality, the converse is true. Television commercials such as Apple Computer’s Mac Guy versus PC Guy, which I do think are hilarious, further position Microsoft as a lame, non-hip entity. To be honest, Microsoft is the most consumer-focused software company in the industry and has been for decades. Apple comes in a close third behind Google.
