So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Ripping Audio Tracks
Ripping audio tracks sounds violent, but it's really just the process of copying digital audio tracks from a CD and converting them to a different digital format that Movie Maker can import. That's why Windows Media Player calls the process copying. Very much like DV capture, it's fast, high-quality, and simple, with few configuration options to set.
Most configuration decisions are dictated by whether you're ripping the audio solely for use in a video project or for more general use. For example, if you have an MP3 player and an extensive music library, you'll probably convert all your music to MP3 format and store the songs in your library.
