Identifying Protocol Security Methods

Several protocol security methods are available to increase security. One of the steps you can take is to encrypt data as it traverses the network, to protect it from sniffing attacks. Additionally, DNS has improved protocol security in the form of security extensions that you can use to increase DNS security. The following sections cover some common methods.
