Planning a Domain Structure
After you settle on the overall design of your namespace, you need to design your domain structure to support it. Each branch of the namespace breaks down to either a domain or an OU. Whether a branch is a domain or an OU depends on a variety of considerations, including the need for replication, security policy, resource availability, quality of the connection, and so forth.
