Managing Built-in Groups and User Rights
When you create an Active Directory domain with one or more Windows Server 2003 domain controllers, built-in groups are automatically created in both the Users and Built-in containers. Many of these groups also have built-in rights that are automatically assigned to members of the group.
Built-in Local Groups
Member servers and stand-alone servers running Windows 2000 Server (Service Pack 3 or later) and computers running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional (Service Pack 3 or later) or Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 1 or later) have built-in local groups that give rights to perform tasks on a single computer.
