Using Event Viewer
Event Viewer is a utility designed to track events recorded in the application, security, and system logs. It enables you to gather information about software, hardware, and system problems and track security events. When you start Windows Server 2003, the Event Log service starts automatically. Event Viewer takes the form of a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in. It is named Eventvwr.msc and can be found in the %SystemRoot%\ System32 folder.
