2.1. Stand-alone Server Installation
Most users who have installed Windows Server directly from distribution media will feel comfortable installing Windows Server 2008. The installation is both faster and requires fewer steps to complete. When Setup loads, a screen appears offering information about the system requirements. Table 2.1 shows the current system requirements for running Windows Server 2008.
