12.4. Terminal Service Remote Applications

A Terminal Services RemoteApp (TS RemoteApp) is an application server platform for remote clients. The RemoteApp service name has been trademarked by Microsoft, and is a new feature in Windows Server 2008. To run a remote application you need to connect to a Terminal Server 2008 with an XP SP2, Vista, Windows Server 2003, or Windows Server 2008 system using the RDP 6.0 TS Client and connection protocol.
