What Is System Restore?
In the imperfect world of computing, not all programs are created equal. Occasionally the installation of updates, hotfixes, hardware drivers, or third-party applications can have an adverse effect on a computer system, causing it to behave unpredictably.
In most cases, a simple uninstall of the recent modification is adequate to return the system to its formerly working order but, occasionally, more drastic measures are necessary.
