It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As with previous versions of Windows, administrators need to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware issues on computers running Windows Vista. Regardless of the location of the computers, administrators need to support computers and fix problems related to startup and shutdown, programs, disk drives, memory, network, security and even Windows Vista itself.
Administrators have to resolve common problems. For example, following are some of the more common problems computer users are facing:
- Excessive hard drive activity—This issue could be related to insufficient memory or to default tasks created by Vista, such as hard drive indexing.
