Windows XP Accessibility Accessories
In addition to the control panel accessibility options, several other accessibility features are available through the Accessories folder. The path to bring up these features is Start, All Programs, Accessories, Accessibility.
Here, you will find Narrator and Magnifier, which can be used to enlarge portions of the screen over which your cursor is placed. Additionally, the On-Screen Keyboard can be used with a pointing device instead of a regular keyboard.
Using the Narrator
The Narrator program is designed to work with some applications and can read text from the screen, as well as menu items and text that you enter yourself. Applications that Narrator works with include the following:
