Using Entertainment Accessories

Windows XP includes a few accessories that are featured in the Entertainment subfolder on the Start Menu. These include Windows Media Player, Sound Recorder, and Volume Control. Media Player, which lets you control the playback of various sound and movie formats, is covered in detail in Chapter 29, “Windows Media Player Version 8.” This section covers the use of the Sound Recorder and Volume Control utilities.
