Using General Accessories

You are assuredly familiar with most of the applications in the main Accessories folder, especially those discussed here, such as Calculator, Wordpad, Notepad, and Paint. Nonetheless, these programs offer important functionality of which many people are not aware.

Using the Calculator

Calculator is likely one of the most frequently used built-in programs in Windows (well, maybe after Solitaire). It is shown in its standard view in Figure 8.8. Aside from basic arithmetic functions, the standard calculator doesn't offer much.
