Sharing Files and Folders
Because Windows XP can be used in so many different environments, from a standalone workstation to a computer on an Active Directory controlled network, there are several options for sharing files.
Sharing Files with Other Users on the Same Windows XP Computer
One way you can share files is to let other people who log onto your computer share some of your files. To do this, you can simply drag them to the Shared Documents folder, which you can see on the left in Figure 9.14.
