Use Windows Update Regularly
An operating system is an evolving creature; that is why there are bug fixes, patches, and service packs. By using the Windows Update service regularly, you can be sure that your system is operating with the latest files. Although your hardware devices may be working just fine right now, it is quite possible that the vendor has certified a newer driver with Microsoft, which would be available through Windows Update.

Regular use of Windows Update is an important part of your security regimen. As new viruses and other malicious programs make their way around the Internet, using the latest Windows security patches and protection helps you guard your system against attacks from these invaders.
