Managing Printers
In the last few sections, you learned how to use the Properties sheet for a printer to manage the capabilities of the printer and how clients that need to print can use it. In this section, you will learn about how to manage the printer itself—that is, managing tasks like removing documents from the queue, pausing and restarting the queue, and so on. Figure 17.15 shows the Control Panel view of the Printers and Faxes category. The HP LaserJet icon has been clicked once to select the printer. Because of this, the list of things you can do under Tasks (on the left side of the page) has expanded to include additional items. Initially this list includes only the Add a Printer task.
