Command Line Performance Monitoring Tools

In addition to the monitoring tools already discussed in this chapter, there are also some command-line options for monitoring a computer's performance. Most of these work in conjunction with the tools already discussed. The following commands are available to you:

  • Logman— Manages and schedules performance counter and event trace log collections on local and remote systems. This command is particularly useful for creating, starting, stopping, and managing logs from batch files and on remote computers.
