Printing Documents

In most cases, when you’ve finished writing, formatting, and proofreading a document, you’ll want to print it. This chapter tells you about the three parts to the printing process:

  • Page Setup enables you to specify information about the paper size, print orientation, and scale.

  • Print Preview enables you to view the document onscreen before you print it. You can also use this view to set page breaks and margins to fine-tune the printed appearance.

  • Print enables you to specify the page range, number of copies, and other options for printing. It then sends the document to your printer.
