Abdominal Examination and Application
It is the process of identifying the foetal condition and favourable birth passage.
OBJECTIVES
- Observe the lie, presentation and position of foetus as to assess the relationship between foetal head and pelvic brim.
- Assess foetal growth.
- Correlate findings and detect any risk.
- Arrange for referral in case of any deviations from normal.
