Prenatal Exercises
Prenatal exercises are muscle activities that strengthen the pelvic and perineal regions for the preparation of birth process and promote rapid restoration of muscle tone after birth.
OBJECTIVES
- Increases blood circulation throughout the body.
- Strengthens the tone of the muscles in the pelvic and perineal regions.
- Reduces fatigue.
- Encourages relaxation during labour.
- Promotes physical comfort and correct posture.
- Promotes good body mechanics.
PRECAUTIONS
