Troubleshooting Wireless Networking
When working with wireless networks, you may not be able to connect to the network for a number of reasons, such as the following:
• Interference You may have trouble keeping a connection with your wireless network because of interference with other electronic equipment, such as cordless phones or microwaves. Try changing the channel on your wireless network. Wireless signals also have a tendency to “bounce” off of solid objects, so sometimes making small adjustments to furniture placement can help.
• Incorrect encryption You may be trying to use the wrong encryption method or specifying the wrong encryption key. You will need to verify these settings before trying to connect.
