In terms of air warfare, a powerful array of bombers, fighters, helicopters, surveillance aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, communications satellites, early warning systems, and space launch vehicles are all part of the current air and space inventory within the U.S. Air Force—the world’s most powerful air and space force.
Many of these aircraft, such as the B-2 bomber, the F-117A fighter, and the RQ-1 Predator, are instantly familiar visually from their striking appearance and from the numerous stories in the media.
