Okay, I admit it, I'm an unabashed systems nerd. I find a thorough, easy-to-follow system such an incredibly sexy thing. Every time you plan to do something in your business, and you think there's a chance you'll do it again someday, make a system for it. I promise, your future self will thank you for it. My background, as you know, is in franchising, and when you run lots of locations and teams remote from each other, the only way you can get good at consistency is with gorgeous systems. I geek out on a good system because I know the brain space that can be freed up to enable you to work on the big things your brain really needs you to show up for.

Great systems allow you and your team to perform work faster and more accurately, and free up brain space to do what you do best — human creativity and delivery. You know the feeling when you're running around wondering what you're supposed to do next, worried you've missed something? Having good systems takes all that worry away. If you've established the processes, all you have to do is follow the procedures that your kind past self set up for you.

There are many incredible software programs that enable you to document systems easily. Though I have my recommendations, I encourage you to spend an hour on YouTube looking at demos and comparing different options, because the most important thing is that it's software that you love and that makes your day easier, not harder.
