Analytical MIMO Channel Representations for System Design

To enable the explicit design of MIMO techniques, mathematical representations are required. While physical models reproduce the properties of MIMO channels by specifying the locations of obstacles and the array configuration in various scenarios (see Chapter 4), so-called analytical models provide a mathematical representation of the channel matrix.
