8.2. Minecraft and Teaching Math
I wandered into Shane Asselstine’s Minecraft world for the first time in December 2013. It is a vast and exciting map—so vast that he and I saw only a few areas during our interview. The time and effort Shane has put into this world to instill engagement and excitement in his students is inspiring. I loved spawning at Shane’s school campus to start off our exploration and can only imagine that his students feel the same way.
