This book is a collection of some of my most well-known images in which the use of flash was essential. In most of the images, the strobe is not immediately apparent. Along with the brief captions that describe the content of the photographs, I offer an explanation of which flash techniques I utilized to create them. In order to avoid repetition, icons are used to help reveal my strobe techniques. Like in all aspects of photography, the process is fluid and each technique has many potential variations. I encourage all photographers to experiment and find the techniques that they are most comfortable with to achieve their desired results.
