So what can we expect from the next generation of mLearning?

Exciting areas of location-aware learning, augmented reality, mobile collaboration, mobile gaming and simulation, and expert location await us. These are joined by richer use of media; decision support tools; and deeper access into enterprise systems and elements of performance support. These have a much more robust capability on the back end server side of the equation, and provide an elegant, small, and simplified subset of information on the handheld device itself.
