Abstract Mobile cloud computing has gained popularity recently because of less power consumption and overhead of mobile devices. Mobile cloud computing-based health monitoring, gaming, learning, and commerce are gaining importance day by day. This chapter discusses the revolution of mobile cloud computing including its architecture, advantages, and applications. Various issues of mobile cloud computing are studied with solutions. Research challenges of mobile cloud computing are also discussed.
