“Breach Financial Bancorp Inc. is not commenting on the cyberattack and we have no comments on whether ransomware was paid,” a company spokesperson said. “However, we do confirm, emphatically, that Breach Financial Bancorp strictly adhered to the state and federal laws relevant to the situation, as well as ransomware guidance from the FBI, CISA, and OFAC.”
