A Lightbulb Goes Off
The value of DevOps is not very well understood in IT today because there are very few examples of it being applied effectively to infrastructure. This is the reason this book exists, and what makes it unique. This chapter illustrates the value of DevOps applied to IT infrastructure. Later chapters provide you with the code, tools, and processes required to apply DevOps to IT infrastructure and, hopefully, get the DevOps lightbulb to go off.
