Analysis of DFIG with Unbalanced Stator Voltage

Abstract

This chapter focuses on steady-state analysis and dynamic analysis of the effect of asymmetric stator voltage dip on the stator/rotor currents as well as the electromagnetic torque of a doubly fed induction generator. Positive- and negative-sequence circuits of an induction machine are employed to carry out steady-state circuit analysis. Further, electromagnetic torque calculation is carried out. To examine the transient, we again use the space-vector model developed in Chapter 2.
