10 CORPORATE INFORMATION AND DATA MODELS

In this chapter we will be taking an enterprise-wide view of information and data. To achieve this, it is essential that we produce a clear and unambiguous definition of all information and data that the organisation uses. Such a definition must be a common view, accepted and agreed by all business areas.

THE PROBLEMS

Organisations vary tremendously in size and nature.
