Abstract

This study explores the mediating role of knowledge update in the context of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) simulation game, that is, a gamified ERP training. Drawing on the expectancy-confirmation model, this study suggests relationships among individual effort, perceived knowledge update, and involvement, which finally influence willingness to learn ERP systems.
