V_DD, V_SS, V_CC, V_EE In an MOS circuit, the designation of the power-supply terminal serving the drain, source, collector, or emitter. The double subscript refers to the power-supply terminal, while a single subscript references the parameter at the element of a device. For example, V_C is the voltage measured on the collector itself, while V_CC is the (constant) voltage supplied to the collector circuit.
