Example Designs
At the risk of this chapter being perishable and out of date before you read it, we felt that at least one chapter in the book should go into a specific embedded design using a specific processor. For this purpose, the Intel® Atom™ Processor E6XX Series SOCs are used, with platform expansion through an interface device known as a platform controller hub.
As an embedded systems programmer, you should be able to read schematics for the platform you are operating on.
