Chapter 8. Building a Worklight Hybrid App with Open Source Frameworks
Throughout the book, the example we built has focused on the browser channel, not the app channel, with the focus on the Liberty profile for WebSphere Application Server. In the last chapter, we introduced IBM Worklight. In this chapter, we illustrate how to build an application for IBM Worklight. In this example, we implemented a client-side architecture using different open source frameworks. We did this to contrast the approach of using Dojo earlier in the book. We illustrate building an app using jQuery Mobile, Backbone, Handlebars, and RequireJS.
