X86-SSE Programming – Packed Integers

In Chapter 6 you learned how to manipulate packed integers using the computational resources of MMX. In this chapter, you learn how to process packed integers using the computational resources of x86-SSE. The first sample program highlights using the x86-SSE instruction set to perform basic packed integer operations with the XMM registers.
