Summary

Post-production has always been regarded as the tech-heavy element of video storytelling. In long-form genres like documentary, or even longish current affairs features, it can take time and be resource heavy. Once only possible in multi-million dollar online post-production suites, video and audio post-production can now be completed in the back seat of a car using a smartphone and a bunch of apps. This chapter introduces the concept of post-production on a mobile device and describes when it is done, how, and what apps are cool.
