Overview

In this chapter, we will examine exactly how to load backups, samples, and test databases into a target MongoDB instance, and just as importantly, you will learn how to export an existing dataset for backup and restoration at a later date. By the end of this chapter, you will be able to backup, export, import, and restore MongoDB data into an existing server.
