Appendix A. Configuration Settings

The objective of the Configuration Settings reference is to provide you with a list of parameters that can be modified in config.php and to understand the impact that each of the values will have.

We will first look at config.php and what types of parameters are supported by Moodle. After providing this overview, we will look at the following two types of configurations settings:

  • Administration Settings: These are settings that are available via the Site administration menu, but can be locked with values specified in config.php.
