Chapter 4. Course Management
Moodle stores learning resources and activities in courses, which belong to categories. In the first part of this chapter, you will learn to:
- Organize courses in categories and sub-categories
- Create and manage courses
- Deal with course requests
In the second part of the chapter, we will cover different ways of enrolling users to courses. The enrolment mechanisms covered are:
- Internal enrolment (manual, self, and guest)
- Cohort enrolment and synchronization
- Database-driven enrolment (LDAP, external databases, flat files, and IMS Enterprise files)
- Meta courses
- Payment-driven enrolment (PayPal)
