With all the dissonance and the lack of consensus in our turbulent society, there is one clear area of agreement—emerging leaders are in the spotlight, at the head of the line, everybody’s baby. It is fascinating to listen, read, and explore this intense interest in a leadership cohort emerging in all three sectors.

Great authorities are writing and speaking about emerging leaders. Theories abound: Generation X, Y, and Z. Corporations, organizations, agencies—enterprises large and small—are working intensely to identify their own emerging leaders and design learning opportunities and other programs for them.
