1. Accepting vs. Rejecting
This kind of negative talk is all about how we unconsciously accept limits and boundaries. It is countered by talking about ways to reject boundaries by getting around them or eliminating them entirely.
A limit can be anything that holds us back—whether we notice it or not. When you encounter limitations, do they make you feel like finding a way around them, or do they make you feel like giving up? Depends on how you think—and talk—about the limit, as these two examples illustrate:
Negative Example: ''There's no way to get this mailing out on time.''
Positive Example: ''There must be some way to get this mailing out on time.''
